Fall/Winter Series: Sweaters & Outerwear

The best thing about fall dressing has to be the layering. The opportunity to mix textures, proportions, and colors is part of what makes getting dressed in the cooler months so much fun. There are endless ways to mix and match the pieces I’ve selected; a knit bodysuit under a cozy wrap coat, a chunky sweater paired with a tailored overcoat, embracing the twinset trend by matching this cardigan with a knit tank top, or going casual with a sweatshirt and quilted jacket; you can’t go wrong! When the temps drop a bit more and you need something extra warm, this Acne shearling coat will keep you warm and on-trend. Although it’s been around for several seasons, and thus likely a safe wardrobe investment, the price tag on this coat is still very steep (For what it’s worth; I spotted it on sale once at FWRD for about half off). Consider this similar option if you’re like me and admire the look but aren’t ready to shell out for the double-digit price tag. As always, shop your closet first as many of this season’s trends are things you likely already have. If you are in the market for anything featured in this post, feel free to shop the links I have listed; or add these items to your wishlist and wait for some of the pricier items to potentially go on sale.

Until next time!
